[Section 1] Inquiring About A Rabbit
(1:1) When inquiring about a rabbit please provide this information to help speed up the process:
- Your name city/state
- What rabbit you are interested in
- What will the rabbit be used for (Show, 4-H, Breeding, Pet)
- Where will the rabbit be kept and how will it be taken care of
- Do you have any experience with rabbits, if so what
- Do you have any other animals
- How many children, if any, are in the home and if so, what are their ages
I ask these questions to find the best homes for my rabbits and try to match each rabbit to the home that would be best for it.
[Section 2] Pickup/Transport
(2:1) Pickup from my home in Shawnee, Ohio is available! Please bring a small box or pet carrier for the rabbit(s) you are picking up. No extra fee will be charged if you pickup.
(2:2) Transport to shows I am going too is possible, just ask. Most of the time no extra fee will be added.
(2:3) I can consider meeting in a public spot closer to you. An extra gas/travel fee may be charged depending on distance.
[Section 3] Payment/Holding
(3:1) I accept PayPal and cash. The rabbit must be paid for in full at or before the time of pickup.
(3:2) I sell on a first come, first served basis. To reserve your rabbit I require a 50% nonrefundable deposit through PayPal.
(3:3) I can hold a rabbit up to two weeks with a deposit, or longer with arrangements made prior. If holding over 2 weeks there may be an extra holding fee as I am using valuable cage space and feed to keep caring for said rabbit.
(3:4) If the buyer drops out of the sale, no payment will be refunded. (few exceptions apply and will be decided on a case by case basis)
(3:5) If something happens to the rabbit before the buyer picks it up (including mis-sexing, making the buyer no longer want the rabbit), I will either refund your payments or offer credit towards a replacement when another rabbit comes available.
(3:6) Rabbits cannot be reserved until they are at least 7 weeks old.
(3:7) In no situation will holding fees/deposits be refunded (See 3:5 for exceptions)
[Section 4] Quality/Type
(4:1) Show Quality: This rabbit is free of disqualifications at the time of sale, and we believe has the potential to do well in a show, but is not guaranteed to.
Holland Lops: $150-$200+
(4:2) Brood Quality: This rabbit has a non-genetic disqualification, or just doesn't have the potential for showing, but still has good type, and has good traits to pass on to offspring.
Holland Lops: $100-$150+
(4:3) Pet Quality: This rabbit has a major disqualification, or just doesn't have the type for breeding or showing, making it a pet only rabbit. Pets are sold without pedigrees and are sold without mis-aligned teeth at the time of purchase. Pets are sold with no aggression at the time of sale, unless otherwise noted.
Hollands Lops: $60-$80+
(4:4) Fuzzy Hollands are sold in their appropriate category, because they can be shown and used in AFL programs.
All rabbits are priced on an individual basis, they may be less then price range specified for their quality. It depends on the rabbit. All prices are subject to change without notice.
[Section 5] Guarantees
(5:1) All rabbits are healthy to the best of my knowledge at time of sale.
(5:2) I will tell you if a rabbit has shown any aggressive behavior in the past.
(5:3) I do NOT guarantee that a rabbit will win, or even place in a show. Or do well in your breeding program, have good fertility ect. If I have had any of these happen with our rabbits, I will state, won _______, or proven. But I can not guarantee the rabbit will do that for you.
(5:4) All rabbits sold match their type (at the time of sale) to the best of my knowledge (see Quality/Type).
(5:5) I do not guarantee the bunny will be as social with you as it was with me! Bonding takes time. As a bunny matures to around 5-6 months, hormones may kick in and make your bunny a little wild! Getting a bunny fixed can help with this.
(5:6) I can not guarantee a junior will grow out nice, I try to get an idea of how they may grow but I cannot be 100% correct, my evaluations are based on what it looks like at the time listed. They can change a lot, for better or worse. Purchase juniors at your own risk.
[Section 6] Returns/Refunds
(6:1) I have a 48 hour health guarantee. If your rabbit gets sick for another reason than feeding it too much treats/things it shouldn't have or overhandling then I will take it back, but I will NOT refund your money. I can offer you another rabbit of equal value (your choice) or wait until one comes available.
(6:2) If you can no longer keep your rabbit I will always take it back! I will need it's cage if possible though, because I have limited space. The rabbit will stay with me or be rehomed. NO REFUND. This applies to pets, brood and show stock. There may be exceptions on the cage with brood/show stock.
(6:3) I ask that you offer your rabbit back to me BEFORE selling it to someone else. This applies to pets, brood and show stock. Thank you.
[Section 7] Other
(7:1) Before buying a bunny please think about it and talk it over with whoever will help care for the bunny, or the whole family! Bunnies can live for 8-14 years with proper care.
(7:2) I have the right to cancel a sale at any time, and I do NOT have to state my reasons.
(7:3) I try not to sell my bunnies around holidays, when I do I practice extreme discretion and may not sell a bunny to you! I don't have to state reasons.
